Riyad Bank has elevated Abdulrahman Sultan to Senior Vice President and Head of Business Portfolio, entrusting him with steering strategic projects that underpin the bank’s expansion and operational transformation. In this pivotal role, Sultan will orchestrate multi-program execution, portfolio governance, and organizational change to align with Riyad Bank’s Vision 2030-aligned ambitions for innovation and customer primacy.
Sultan’s ascent caps a distinguished internal trajectory at the Riyadh-based lender. He previously held Portfolio Manager – Vice President since July 2023, Acting Portfolio Manager from October 2022, Enterprise Project Manager – Assistant Vice President, and Project Manager – Senior Manager from April 2021. These positions honed his skills in program management office leadership, enterprise transformation, and high-stakes delivery across banking functions.
Before Riyad Bank, Sultan spent over four years at the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), rising from Project Analyst to Project Manager and Senior PMO Analyst, tackling complex public sector initiatives. Early in his career, he managed demand planning and inventory in the US at Fast & Easy, building foundational operational expertise. A PMP-certified professional with a degree from Georgia Southern University, Sultan excels in bridging strategy and execution for sustainable results.
